The registration for the Summer School 2021 is now open!
This year, the school will take place online on July 12-16 and is being jointly organized with the Harvard Physics Department, as part of the MPHQ collaboration, as well as together with the special research programme BeyondC. The program will consist of lectures on the topics of NISQ Era Quantum Computing and Topological Phases in Quantum Gases, an industry session, soft skills training and, most importantly, contributions from participating PhD students. We will also have social activities at the end of each day. More details about the summer school can be found on the IMPRS website here.
If you would like to participate, please register online until June 10.
To get the most out of this joint event, we strongly encourage all participants to contribute posters and/or talks. We are inviting students to contribute shorter 15 min or longer 45 min ‘plenary’ talks. The shorter talks are intended to present the main ideas behind your research to a broad audience, while the longer talks are intended to showcase some of the high impact research carried out by participants in the school. Contribution of posters, even if also contributing a talk, is highly recommended. The more informal environment offered by a poster session is a great opportunity to get to know other participants and their research!
