MPHQ researchers Markus Greiner and Mikhail Lukin lead team to develop 256 bit quantum simulator

A team of physicists, led by MPHQ Co-director Prof. Markus Greiner and MPHQ PI Mikhail Lukin, from the Harvard-MIT Center for Ultracold Atoms and other universities has developed a special type of quantum computer known as a programmable quantum simulator capable of operating with 256 quantum bits, or “qubits.” Read more about the remarkable development here
